Women's Anxiety Management (5 or 6 week course)**Next course is 19th October - 16th November 2021)

 

 Anxiety is a normal and often healthy emotion. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate levels of anxiety, it might lead to excessive nervousness, fear, apprehension, and worry.

The course will cover understanding what Anxiety is and what are the signs and symptoms, including panic attacks. How OUR thoughts affect OUR symptoms and coping mechanisms, breathing techniques and relaxation.




Counselling services

 

 Counselling is a talking therapy that can help with a range of mental and emotional problems, including stress, anxiety and depression. 


We offer counselling services on Monday afternoons and Friday afternoons but spaces are limited.

Pre/Post Natal Anxiety

It's not the baby blues and it's not pre/post natal depression—so what is it? If you're feeling overly worried after giving birth, you may be suffering from pre/post Natal Anxiety disorder.  


Pre/Post Natal Anxiety disorder is a cousin to Pre/Post Natal Depression (PND)that affects about 10 percent of new mums,


We will be running a course that will cover understanding what Pre/Post Natal Anxiety is and what are the signs and symptoms, along with coping mechanisms, breathing techniques and relaxation.

Depression **COMING SOON**

Depression is a mental health condition characterized by persistent changes in mood or lack of interest in daily activities.


There are several types of depression including: major depression, persistent depressive disorder, bipolar mood disorder, psychotic depression, postpartum depression, and seasonal affective disorder.


We will be running a course that will cover understanding what Depression is and what are the signs and symptoms, along with coping mechanisms, breathing techniques and relaxation.
