Community Support Hub

  

Our House is a community hub based in the heart of Walton, North Liverpool. Our House was set up and is ran by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about helping to support the needs of people living in the community.

Streetwise

Love Learning

Streetwise provides practical and emotional support to street sex workers including the provision of tea, coffee, sandwiches, toiletries and condoms. We aim to provide a safe place for the workers to come and  discuss concerns or fears.

WHAT HAVE WE ACHEIVED SO FAR?

Make an Impact 2017

Christmas dinner for over 250 homeless, vulnerable, elderly and isolated humans within the city of Liverpool.

Convoy of Hope 2019

Event in Newsham Park where we were able to serve 1604 members of the community with everything absolutely FREE, from   

haircuts, beauty, community, health, Kids Zone to a food parcel at the end.

Mobile Grotto 2019

Free Mobile Grotto to children in deprived areas. With the average price of £12 per child gong to a Grotto can be an expensive activity, we served 348 children attended over 2 days.

COVID -19 response 2020

Homecooked@ourhouse, prepared and delivered family meals to feed 202 mouths a week in the local community. 

HOPE Pantry 2020

A non means tested food hub were individuals and households can choose 10 or 15 branded items of shopping a week for a fraction of the retail price.

Santa's Grotto 2020

Free Santa’s Grotto for the local children and families during Covid-19. FREE gifts, chocolate, mince pies and Hot chocolate. Elves and naughty elves interacted with children and their families to give them that magic feeling of Christmas.

Women's Anxiety Management Course 2021

So far a massive 28 women in 2021 have successfully our anxiety management course and have been able to move forward, managing any obstacles that they face in every day life with the techniques that were taught.

Blank Canvas 2021

 Event in which over 200 members of the community attended to see creative artists show off their work, but more importantly the reason behind the work, to inspire people to see that there are alternative ways to express themselves, their emotions and improve mental health.
